Long Term Volunteer

local ecologyPPST is in continuous progress looking for knowledge and capacity building.

LT volunteers who are offered a position would be the counterpart of an Indonesian staff member that is officially occupying that position.
Where the position is not filled in by an Indonesian staff, a LT volunteer would be recruited to develop that function by hands on implementation and improvement of the subject matter.

Tasikoki is looking for knowledge and capacity building!

Long term volunteers (+6 months availability) who are offered a function are counterpart of an Indonesian staff member that is officially occupying that position.

Where the position is not filled in by an Indonesian staff, a Long term volunteer will be engaged to develop that function by hands on implementation and improvement of the subject matter.

 

 These are unpaid voluntary positions or require self-funding or self-sought sponsorship.

[CAGE BUILDER]

We are currently looking for skilled Cage Builders able to construct, renovate and maintain animal enclosures.
Able to improvise with limited available resources, as well as welding skills are a must.

[ECOLODGE COORDINATOR]

We are currently looking for an experienced team member with qualifications in hotel management
to help in the development and implementation of our ECOLODGE operations.

[EDUCATION OFFICER]

We are currently looking for a creative team member to join the Tasikoki Education Unit,
to help in the implementation and execution of the Tasikoki Education Programme.
Speaking bahasa indonesia is a bonus!

[ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR BEHAVIOURAL, ENVIORNMENTAL]

We are currently looking for dynamic team members to coordinate the enrichment activities of the Tasikoki Volunteer Programme.
Experience in training people and leading activities for big groups are a preferred.

[FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR]

We are currently looking for a thinking out of the box, inventive, skilled Fundraiser,
willing to help in the raise of funding for Tasikoki, soliciting (potential) donors, write grants and funding proposals.
Communication and formal writing are preferred.

[GARDENING & WASTE MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR]

We are currently looking for a valuable asset that can develop and implement landscaping and grounds maintenance.
Experience in park maintenance and waste management are preferred.

[HUSBANDRY COORDINATORS BIRDS, PRIMATES, REPTILES]

We are currently looking for qualified Husbandry Coordinators that can help us with the development and implementation of Husbandry routines for our volunteering programme.
Experience and qualification in the specific taxa is a must.

[MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN]

We are currently looking for a handy team member able to help with general maintenance activities that involve electricity, plumbing, glazing, carpentry, and so on.
Speaking bahasa indonesia is a bonus!

[TREE NURSERY ASSISTANT]

We are currently looking for capable green fingers to help in the planting of fruit trees and the maintenance of our tree nursery.
Background in tropical forestry, agriculture or similar is a must.

[VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS]

Passionate veterinary professionals, with experience in handling, diagnosis and treatment of different species of birds and reptiles, able to contribute to our wishlist and keen to suggest improvement and development of our standards.
Minimum of two year post qualification experience is required.

[INDONESIAN VETERINARIAN]

We are currently looking for a Veterinarian passionate for wildlife and its conservation. Willing to engage at least 6 months with option to get hired.
